Aurora Aesthetics is a Nurse led clinic in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow. It was established and registered with Health Improvement Scotland in 2021.
Aurora is a registered clinic providing the highest level of Aesthetic Nursing, exceeding the industry standards and following all regulations.
Aurora’s director is Nurse Prescriber Malissa Cronan, Malissa started her career when she qualified in 2013 as a Registered Nurse. She started work immediately within plastic surgery where she first found her interest in Aesthetics.
2013 Malissa began her career as a registered nurse in plastic surgery. It is during this role that she began to take an interest in Aesthetics.
2015 She decided to further her skills and knowledge in Aesthetics learning about skincare and chemical peels this then created a desire to become an Aesthetics Nurse.
2017 She began working as a Surgical and Aesthetics Nurse for an award winning plastic surgery clinic in Scotland. Since then Malissa has attended multiple courses to enhance and develop her skills further ensuring her clients are given the best possible treatments.
2019 Malissa qualified as a Nurse Prescriber so that she would be able to prescribe and administer medication such as anti-wrinkle injections. More importantly she is able to prescribe and manage complications which can arise from dermal fillers – putting her clients wellbeing and safety first.
2020 Malissa then returned to university and with merit qualified with a BSc in professional practice which is reflected throughout her work and practice.
2021 Aurora was given status as a registered clinic with HIS enabling Malissa’s vision to become a reality.
Malissa is committed to providing her clients with the highest quality treatments and service. Clients can be assured that all treatments carried out are done so with great confidence and skill giving clients complete piece of mind.
Malissa is skilled and experienced in building bespoke treatment plans with her clients wellbeing at the forefront of any decision making. Using skill and education Malissa is able to use injectable treatments to give her clients a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.
